Under SB 1343 all employers in California with five or more employees are required to provide at least two hours of interactive training regarding harassment prevention to all supervisory employees and one hour for all non-supervisory employees.
Under the original legislation the deadline to complete this training for all levels of employees was January 1, 2020. SB 778, signed in to law by Gov. Newsom on August 30, was put into effect immediately, and extends the compliance deadline to January 1, 2021.
The EIA has partnered with TargetSolutions to put together two all-new courses: Anti-Harassment Training for All Employees - California (SB 1343) and Anti-Harassment Training for Supervisors and Managers - California (SB 1343/AB 1825), which use video-based lessons to help your organization stay compliant with training requirements.
