The California Office of Emergency Services (OES) is now accepting cybersecurity grant proposals from state and local government entities, and tribal government groups. The State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program (SLCGP) is a first-of-its-kind endeavor specifically for state, local, and territorial (SLT) governments to help strengthen cyber resilience. For fiscal year 2024, California has $19,085,028 in funds available for the SLCGP Competitive Funding Opportunity (CFO). The SLCGP is managed by FEMA on behalf of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). This grant is unlike other Homeland Security Grants and proposals must be processed through the State grants coordinator, which in California is the Office of Emergency Services (Cal-OES).

Cal-OES has scheduled webinars to provide applicants with technical assistance on the proposal requirements. PRISM members interested in the grant program are encouraged to attend one of the upcoming webinars listed below.
