Job Description
The Information Technology Specialist will provide assistance to the Information Technology Department including, but not limited to: contribute to documentation and information on the EIA’s website, lead routine projects, assist Senior Specialist’s on complex development projects both website and EIA’s information management system (enterprise/proprietary), provide technical assistance and support both, evaluate and test new work and bug fixes, including, submitting and responding to support tickets. Provide backup support for the Clerical Assistant. Prepare, review, and edit system and training documentation, conduct training, and perform special projects. The position will report directly to the IT Manager.
All members of the IT Department are expected to develop an overall, well-rounded knowledge of the systems and applications IT supports so that they can assist users in areas outside their specialty. The IT Specialist will be expected to primarily support the Digital team but will be expected to help all IT teams, as needed.

Physical Requirements
Physical requirements of this position typically include: sitting for long periods of time, reaching, grasping, kneeling, talking, hearing, seeing, repetitive motions, exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move. Some travel may be required.
Special Requirements
Possession of a valid State of California Driver’s License issued by the State Department of Motor Vehicles, or the ability to obtain one within the first month of employment. Proof of auto insurance with no exclusion for business use is required.
