EIA Announces Loss Prevention Department Name Change
In response to wide ranging changes in the business context of the Loss Prevention Department, the Loss Prevention Committee voted during the May 17th meeting to officially change the name of Loss Prevention to Risk Control. The change took effect immediately.
The decision to change the name stemmed from a desire to more accurately follow industry terminology and reflect the evolving focus of the department, which has become a leading creative consultancy and is continually increasing diversified business relationships within and outside the EIA.
The EIA is firm in stating that the name change to Risk Control will not affect the department’s focus or the level of service EIA members have come to expect.
