Three new laws went into effect this year that directly impact the rules for minor consent in California.  We will review new criteria expanding the behavioral health care that minors can consent to, as well as the additional type of care that is now available to "self-sufficient" minors.  We will also touch on payment issues that arise when providing healthcare to minors pursuant to these laws, and practical solutions to problems that might arise.
