In this class Sr. Loss Prevention Specialist, John Gargiulo, will present information about Industrial Hygiene in an attempt to give the attendees an overview of the Industrial Hygiene profession.

Topics covered include:

• Basic IH Concepts
• Hazardous Substances
• Hazard Recognition
• Hazard Evaluation
• Exposure Limits
• Routes of Entry
• Acute and Chronic Exposures
• Controls

Objectives:

After attending the class the attendees should be able to identify the basic role the Industrial Hygienist may play in their operations.
