Addressing Homeless Encampments
The presentation will discuss the process used by a northern California county to close a homeless encampment in a way that protects the agency while respecting those experiencing homelessness, thus minimizing exposure for claims and lawsuits. This includes information on interactions with campers, documentation, safety, personal property issues, and providing a relocation site after the closing. Learn about what worked and what didn’t. Use this flyer to invite your colleagues who might be interested in attending.
Registration is free for all PRISM members and their employees.
Join us after lunch to discuss available resources.
