Preventing Workplace Violence: How to Adopt and Enforce Effective Policies to Keep Employees and Visitors Safe

Overview

While this webcast is open to all EIA members, some of the Eyres Law Group Services are only available to members of the PWC and/or GL1 programs.

Overview

Workplace violence covers a range of potential threats, from active shooters, to explosive devices. Additionally, threats can arise from extreme bullying, to relationship violence. Employers must be vigilant and proactive, without being alarmist. It's a challenging balance.

Join Patricia Eyres from the Eyres Law Group, in this fast-paced, informative webinar where she will focus on key aspects of workplace violence prevention. We will address the signs of potential workplace violence, from both internal and external threats. The presenter will provide up to date information on how to minimize threats, update safety measures, and refine procedures to keep employees and visitors safe within public entity facilities. The webinar materials will include checklists and sample updated policies, including lockdown procedures.
