Cal/OSHA Log 300

Overview

This 2.5 hour class is a discussion covering the fundamental skills of utilizing and implementing the use of the Cal/OSHA Log 300.

The training objectives include:

  • Explain the state record keeping requirements.
  • Explain where the OSHA Form 300 must be maintained.
  • Explain when and where to post the OSHA Form 300A.
  • Explain how to use the OSHA Form 301 to record injuries and illnesses.
  • Determine which employers are required to maintain the OSHA Form 300.
  • Explain when and how to complete the OSHA Form 300A annual summary.
  • Explain what information must be entered on the OSHA Form 300, 300A, and 301.
  • Explain the OSHA 300 logic tree for determining when an injury or illness is recordable.


Please note: there is a testing component to the webinar. After the presentation, participants will take a short quiz. In order to receive a certificate of completion, one must receive a score of 16/20 or better (80% or above).
