Course description:

Learning to Use the GISOs teaches students how to lookup the Title 8 Regulations applicable to hazards found in the workplace. Students complete a practical exercise in class where they have to identify a workplace hazard, find the applicable regulation, and give the corrective action to abate the hazard. After completing the exercise they have acquired the skills needed to conduct workplace inspections in their organization.

Certification requirements:

• The homework assignment must be completed and turned in to the instructor.
• Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate of completion.

This course may be bundled with Accident Investigation Parts 1 & 2, Safety and the Supervisor, Workers Compensation for Supervisors, Safety Management – What is it?, and Developing Effective Control Measures to complete  the Safety Management Training Series.
