Overview

With the non-stop news coverage, it's easy to become paralyzed by these critical situations. However, it is important to know that while so-called 'active shooter' events are catastrophic, they are also rare.  Every organization needs to have policies that cover issues such as:

• Workplace Violence Prevention
• Safe and Humane Discipline and Termination Processes
• Access Control and Security Procedures
• Updated Emergency and Evacuation Responses, and
• Post-incident Business Continuity and Recovery Plans.

This webinar provides valuable information for every agency with questions and concerns about these issues.

• How to address pre-incident violent or threatening behaviors from troubled taxpayers, strangers, or employees;  
• Need for in-place policies and procedures to manage risk, minimize liability, and make good decisions on behalf of the agency, its employees and its taxpayers;
