Learning to Perform Job Hazard Analysis (JHA)
Join Juan Cajandig, PRISM Senior Risk Control Specialist, CSP, CFPS, MAS, ARM
Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) is a process that focuses on job task steps, identifies hazards, and implements controls to prevent workplace injuries and illnesses. The process also focuses on the relationship between the worker, the task, the tools, and the work environment. When uncontrolled hazards are identified, steps can be taken to eliminate or reduce the hazards to an acceptable risk level. The class simplifies each step and makes learning easy. We perform a JHA of a step ladder in class.
