PARMA - Public Agency Risk Management Association was formed in 1974. PARMA is an organization that spans the entire State of CA, and has members in Washington, Oregon, Colorado, and Nevada. It has over 600 members in six local chapters. PARMA provides education, resource information, and networking that supports public agency personnel responsible for risk management.

RCRC - Rural County Representatives of California (RCRC) was formed in 1972. RCRC works with its membership to advocate on behalf of rural issues at the state and federal levels. RCRC staff work in partnership with the Board of Directors to deliver a rural perspective when legislation and regulations are being formulated in Sacramento and Washington D.C.
