Association of Governmental Risk Pools (AGRiP) was incorporated in 1998. AGRiP energizes the power of pooling by representing and connecting pooling organizations, providing education, resources and best practices, and developing and sharing the best of each AGRiP member. California Association of Joint Powers Authorities (CAJPA) was formed in 1981. CAJPA has provided its members with up-to-date professional development opportunities, an accreditation program requiring the highest of standards, impactful advocacy at both the Capitol and with regulators as well as a family-like culture where professionals share knowledge and support one another.

California Public Employers Labor Relations Association (CALPELRA) is a nonprofit association established in 1975. CALPELRA helps California public sector employers better serve their communities by providing training in labor relations and personnel management as well as fostering professional development.

California State Association of Counties (CSAC) represents county government before the CA Legislature, administrative agencies and federal government. CSAC emphases is advocacy, education/resources, and programs.

Public Agency Risk Management Association was formed in 1974. PARMA is an organization that spans the entire State of CA, and has members in Washington, Oregon, Colorado, and Nevada. It has over 600 members in six local chapters. PARMA provides education, resource information, and networking that supports public agency personnel responsible for risk management.

Rural County Representatives of California (RCRC) was formed in 1972. RCRC works with its membership to advocate on behalf of rural issues at the state and federal levels. RCRC staff work in partnership with the Board of Directors to deliver a rural perspective when legislation and regulations are being formulated in Sacramento and Washington D.C.
