Risk Control Open Forum – Managing Certificates of Insurance Join your host Scarlett Sadler and special guest Mike Zavarello, Product Manager at Evident, on January 15th at 9:00 a.m. for an interactive Risk Control Open Forum focused on Certificate of Insurance management. We will discuss implementation and day-to-day usage best practices, along with common challenges agencies experience when using a COI management system. Recognizing and Preventing Youth Suicide (EDU) – Vector Solutions Course Update The Vector Solutions course “Recognizing and Preventing Youth Suicide (EDU)” has been updated to support California school districts in meeting suicide prevention training expectations under California Education Code 215. The refreshed course builds awareness of warning signs and suicidal ideation, reinforces the importance of following district suicide prevention policies, and outlines appropriate prevention, intervention, and postvention response steps to support student safety and well-being. The course allows districts to attach their suicide prevention policy so staff can easily access it and the district can document acknowledgement.
