Employee Benefits Committee
Description of Committee
- Nine member committee, including
- Seven voting and two alternate committee members, with
- One designated public entity representative voting seat
- Typically meets 2 to 3 times a year, with at least 1 meeting at the PRISM office
- Majority of the members of the Employee Benefits Committee must be participants in the Dental Program
- Committee members are participants in the Employee Benefits Programs and generally have an employee benefits or human resources background
- Advisory committee under the direction of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors
Responsibilities
- Develops, evaluates and reviews all matters pertaining to the Employee Benefits programs
- Makes recommendations to the Executive Committee and Board regarding existing programs
- Makes recommendations to the Executive Committee and Board regarding development and implementation of new programs
