The Risk Control Specialist Trainee conducts risk control and workplace safety activities with risk pool members, including training, training presentations, consultations and inspections. This is an entry-level position. The training regimen involves direct contact with all levels of fair management and staff. General duties revolve around limiting our members' workers' compensation and general liability exposure. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, developing and presenting workplace safety training modules; safety consultations; development and implementation of Cal/OSHA mandated safety programs; site risk control audits; and event safety inspections.
