Indoor and Outdoor Heat Illness Prevention Resources

The PRISM: Indoor and Outdoor Heat Illness Prevention course is now available for assignment on the Vector Solutions LMS platform. This updated course replaces the previous Heat Illness Prevention Training and is designed for employees working in both indoor and outdoor environments. The course covers how heat illness occurs, ways to protect against it, and how to assist someone experiencing heat illness. Additionally, a new Risk Simplified resource titled Understanding Indoor Heat Illness Prevention Requirements is available to help agencies navigate the recent Cal/OSHA Indoor Heat Illness Prevention regulation found in Title 8 Section 3396. Safety Management Training Series - Winter/Spring Schedule Now Available

Boost your professional skills or help your employees excel with the Safety Management Certification Training Series. This program equips public entity employees with the tools to effectively manage a district's Injury and Illness Prevention Programs. Participants who elect to attend all sessions, compete required course work, and pass a final exam will receive PRISM’s Safety Management Certification.
