AB 1432, signed in 2015, requires school districts, county offices of education, charter schools, and other specified state run agencies to annually train employees who are classified as mandated reporters on the responsibilities of a mandated reporter. This mandated reporter training must be provided employees within the first 6 weeks of the school year or within the first 6 weeks of that person’s employment.
