Property Program Renewal Update

March 31st marked another successful renewal of the PRISM Property Program! Overall, the program was not only able to maintain all-risk, earthquake, and flood limits as expiring, but was able to add some enhancements to various coverages/limits. In addition, PRISM continues to self-fund the Primary layer for the 2025/2026 policy term. Evidence of renewal coverage is now available in the My Entity Documents area of the PRISM Website.

Please contact Emily Prieto if you have any questions or need immediate property schedule changes.

Property Grants

Are you part of the Property Program? If so, your entity is eligible to apply for a Property Program Grant, which includes up to $25k per member, per fiscal year, on a matching basis! Funds may be used for risk control programs and projects designed to reduce exposures associated with the Property Program. For example, one great way to use these matching funds is to protect vacant buildings.

Applications should be submitted to the PRISM Risk Control Department to be considered at the next Property Committee Meeting. For additional information check out the FAQ’s and please do not hesitate to contact Doug McGill.

New Self-Service Features on the PRISM Website

User Management Just Got Easier! We’re excited to announce a brand-new suite of self-service features now available to Primary Contacts on the PRISM website. With these enhancements, you can:

  • Add or remove individual permissions for each member of your entity
  • Create brand-new user accounts right from your Member Dashboard
  • Deactivate users when necessary

For a detailed breakdown of these new capabilities (and a quick refresher on existing features), check out our blog post: Updated Associated Users Tab.

As always, if you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Matthew Richins. We appreciate your feedback and look forward to hearing how these new tools are making your user management experience smoother!

Reminder: Market Update Webinar: GL, Property and WC Trends

As large claims grow in both number and severity, the hard market remains unrelenting—impacting everyone, including public entities. However, there’s strength in pooling together, and PRISM is committed to guiding members through these challenges to adapt and thrive.

Join PRISM’s Rick Brush, along with Alliant’s Kevin Bibler and Allison Spaulding, on Wednesday, April 9, from 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm, for an in-depth look at the claims trends and cost drivers shaping the market. They’ll also discuss how to effectively communicate these issues to stakeholders across the General Liability, Property, and Workers’ Compensation Programs.
