Property Program – New First Notice of Loss Form
Members of the Property Program: we are glad you are part of our community and appreciate your partnership. In an effort to keep current with the Property Program needs, we have updated our first notice of loss form. The new form can be located by following the link or by going to the EIA website and navigating to Resources, EIA Documents, then Claims Forms. The new form should be used for all new property losses moving forward. Please spread the word to those within your entity who might use this form.
Property Program Members: Grant Money Available!
If your entity is part of the Property Program, you are eligible to apply for a Property Program Grant. This program includes up to $25k per member, per year on a matching basis. The funds may be used for risk control programs designed to reduce exposures associated with the Property Program. One great way to use these matching funds is for protecting vacant buildings. Other ways to use the funds are hazard inspections, other risk identification evaluations on specific locations, or implementation of security measures such as alarm system installation.
Please submit applications to the EIA’s Risk Control Department by March 15 to be considered at the following Property Committee Meeting. For additional information check out the FAQ’s and please do not hesitate to contact us.
EIA will be Hiring Soon! Chief Information Officer
First, we want to thank George Reynolds for all the hard work he has done as the Chief Information Officer with the EIA, and congratulate him on his upcoming retirement! Good luck to you, George!
With that, the EIA will soon be looking for a new Chief Information Officer: could that be you?
In today’s hectic business environment, more and more people are looking for improved work/life balance. If you are tired of a long daily commute, the heavy traffic of the Bay Area, and want to settle into a community that promotes healthy lifestyles, enjoying the outdoors, and families, then the EIA may have your dream job. With our office located in Folsom, many employees live within 25 miles and work from home some of the time. The work is challenging and there is a lot to be accomplished, but the people make it enjoyable and a great place to work! Another positive is that we enjoy the benefits of a governmental agency, but generally work in a non-political environment. If you are looking to work as a Chief Information Officer, you won’t want to miss this opportunity.
More information on this upcoming opening with the EIA will be coming soon. If you have questions, please contact Allison Bateman, Human Resources Manager.
