 With the anticipation of very high temperatures in various parts of California, public agencies are advised to prioritize the protection of outdoor workers against heat illness. Cal/OSHA's Heat Illness Prevention Standard, Title 8 CCR, Section 3395, mandates that employers establish comprehensive procedures, including policies and training, to mitigate heat illness, and it is crucial for outdoor workers to receive heat illness training before commencing work in hot conditions. Join us at PRISM’s office in Folsom on August 23rd for the Primary Workers' Compensation Program Stakeholder’s Workshop.
Get ready for an exciting day that takes you into a deeper dive into the benefits of PWC Program participation! Topics of discussion include the financial benefits of participation, vendor and service offerings, claims oversight, and engagement with your fellow members. This fun-filled journey will take place following the PWC Committee meeting from 10:00 am - 12:00 p.m., followed by lunch, and will conclude at 4:00 p.m.
Members are not required to be a PWC Participant to join the workshop. All PWC Program members are encouraged to attend.
