EIA Forms Captive - Excess Insurance Organization
The EIA has formed a captive insurance company, Excess Insurance Organization (EIO) which began operations July 1, 2016. The formation was over a year in the making, and has been established to provide both short and long term objectives for the EIA. The Captive will be domiciled in Utah, and the Board is made up of current EIA Board, Committee, and staff members along with EIA General Counsel and Utah Counsel. Existing EIA staff will provide in-house management of the Captive including accounting, payment of expenses, and interface with regulators. For more information, please contact Rick Brush.
More Useful Tools Added to the Loss Prevention Toolbox
Job Safety Analyses and Essential Job Duties are the latest additions to the Loss Prevention Toolbox on the EIA website. The Toolbox is a repository of customizable templates and best practices documents to assist all EIA Members. The latest additions add Essential Job Duties and Job Safety Analysis documents applicable to many common public entity positions, which can be downloaded and modified based on the specifics of the position at your entity.
