| Office of Self-Insurance Plans Adopts New Reporting Regulations |
|
|
The Office of Self-Insurance Plans (OSIP) has adopted new Regulations pertaining to annual reporting requirements for self-insured public agencies. These new Regulations are effective July 1, 2020. As such, the annual reporting due October 1, 2020, for the fiscal year end data for 19/20, will need to comply with the new reporting requirements. OSIP’s official announcement can be found here.

The Interactive Process Manual for California Public Agency Employers has just been updated! This hot off the press 6th edition includes information on conducting interactive processes, evaluating and implementing reasonable accommodations, and maintaining defensible documentation – including a completely new comprehensive section on the impact of COVID-19 on all types of reasonable accommodations. Developed by Patti Eyres, Managing Partner of Eyres Law Group, as part of the Labor Law/Employment Practices Services Program is available to all PRISM members.
