PRISM Now Offering POST Certified Online Course
Have you heard about the most recent POST certified course from PRISM? Use of Force and De-escalation is a 1-hour online, self-paced course. It is designed to provide law enforcement officers the knowledge and strategies to safely bring volatile situations with persons in crisis to a non-violent conclusion.
Two New Offerings from Partner Health & Safety Institute
PRISM has partnered with the Health & Safety Institute (HSI) to provide two new services.
The first is CPR, First Aid & AED Remote Skills Verification (RSV), which incorporates hands-on remote skills verification with blended training options, allowing employees to stay up to date with certifications from the comfort of their home or office.
The other is Active Violence Emergency Response Training (AVERT). AVERT uses dynamic methods to teach students proactive awareness, how to react and protect themselves and others in a violent situation, and how to respond to severe injuries that are often a result of these occurrences.
For more information on either of these new offerings, please contact Risk Control.
Please remember to check the COVID-19 Resources page. There you will find links to important information, PRISM staff created articles and other resources. The page is updated regularly, so check back often.
