EIA is Hiring: Chief Information Officer
The EIA is looking for a new Chief Information Officer: could that be you?
In today’s hectic business environment, more and more people are looking for improved work/life balance. If you are tired of a long daily commute, the heavy traffic of the Bay Area, and want to settle into a community that promotes healthy lifestyles, enjoying the outdoors, and families, then the EIA may have your dream job. With our office located in Folsom, many employees live within 25 miles and work from home some of the time. The work is challenging and there is a lot to be accomplished, but the people make it enjoyable and a great place to work! Another positive is that we enjoy the benefits of a governmental agency, but generally work in a non-political environment. If you are looking to work as a Chief Information Officer, you won’t want to miss this opportunity.
Closing date is Friday, March 8th. If you have questions, please contact Allison Bateman, Human Resources Manager.
California Coalition of Workers’ Compensation Approves Reduced Membership Rates for Public Sector Organizations
California Coalition of Workers’ Compensation (CCWC) is the only organization focused solely on workers’ compensation. CCWC’s legislative advocates represent the membership while collaborating with state lawmakers, local decision makers, and state regulatory agencies to provide a more balanced, efficient, and stable worker’s compensation system. Additionally, CCWC provides educational webinars, legislative updates and newsletter. CCWC Membership also provides for a $200 per person discount at the Annual Legislative and Educations Forum Conference (currently held in Anaheim in July). For more information on the benefits of CCWC, please visit their website. If you’d like to become part of CCWC, please contact Kim Rothschild and let her know you are an EIA member. For more information, contact Jen Hamelin, EIA’s Director of Workers’ Compensation Claims.
