Primary General Liability Program to Merge with General Liability 1
Over the past few months, there have been discussions surrounding the possibility of merging the Primary General Liability (PGL) and General Liability (GL1) Programs to address the administrative expense ratio and to improve the efficiency of the PGL Program. This would involve dissolving PGL as a stand-alone program, and have the GL1 Program offer a new Deductible Buy-Down Option. At their meeting on May 10th, the PGL Committee took action to move forward with the dissolution and merge with GL1. Read more about this upcoming merger. If you have any questions, please contact Mike Pott, Chief Claims Officer, or Heather Fregeau, Excess Liability Claims Manager.
