Webinar: Recap of New Legislation for Coming Year
Join us for the Eyres Law Recap of New Legislation for the Coming Year webinar on October 24th at 9:00 am on EIAtv.
The California legislature sent a last minute “flurry” of bills to the Governor. He had until midnight on September 30th to address 1,217 pieces of legislation, including items that affect public sector workplaces, K12 school districts and offices of education in the following areas: workers’ comp, California Public Records Act, new and amended employment laws, and amendments to the Education Code. The recap will focus on what was signed, as well as key bills the Governor vetoed with strong veto messages (and signals for the next Governor). Join us for this complete, up-to-the-minute review and analysis of all the new statutory amendments and the anticipated impacts, or watch on demand shortly after.
