Master Crime Policy Notice
EIA Master Crime Policy can be used to fulfill the bonding requirements for many public officials. In order for it to do so, most county members must have the policy properly approved and filed per California Government Code sections 1457 and 1458. A complete copy of the policy is available in the EIA website in the My Entity Documents section. A sample letter to the presiding judge and template signature page is available for download which you can use to file, as well as information about the approval/filing process. While it is not likely to be the case, some cities and other non-county members may have similar filing requirements, and those members should verify with counsel if they are unsure of those requirements. If you require a certified copy or any other special documentation, please contact Brian Kelley at 916-850-7300.
Strategic Planning Facilitation Services
Announcing the newest service available to EIA Members: Strategic Planning Facilitation! EIA Staff can conduct a JPA strategic planning session, helping you create a collaborative environment to share information, debate in a constructive manner, and come to specific agreed upon goals. For reduced rates, our facilitator will work with you to create the “perfect” strategic planning session. Find out more about this service: contact Rick Brush, EIA's Chief Member Services Officer.
