PRISM Resources for Election Season
As election season approaches, it's important for agencies to stay informed and well-prepared. With that in mind, PRISM has created several resources that may be helpful for agencies to review while preparing for the upcoming elections:
  • The Risk Simplified on Suspicious Mail Handling is meant for employers and will provide an idea of the hazards that can be found in the mail, along with information on identifying and handling suspicious packages.

  • PRISM Risk Control has also developed a course on Suspicious Mail Handling which can be found on the Vector Solutions LMS Platform. This course is meant for any employee or volunteer that is assigned the responsibility of handling or opening pieces of mail and/or ballots. Learners will gain a better understanding of how to identify suspicious pieces of mail, how to handle them, and hazardous material exposure symptoms.

  • Election Workers: how does your entity address this classification of temporary volunteer workers”, can help PRISM members determine on how to handle injury or liability exposure that arises from election workers.
For any questions related to PRISM’s election resources, please reach out to Chandler Wright.
