Join Senior Risk Control Specialist John Nichols, ARM, CAC, CLP, for this interactive workshop on control strategies for workplace violence (WPV) hazards. This workshop is suited for those responsible for managing WPV hazards at the workgroup, department, and/or organizational level. Participants will receive best practice information and resources on:
- hazard identification principles;
- risk assessment strategies; and
- how to incorporate corrective action into a WPV Prevention Plan.

| Indoor and Outdoor Heat Illness Prevention Resources |

Now available for assignment on the Vector Solutions platform is PRISM’s Indoor and Outdoor Heat Illness Prevention course. This updated course replaces PRISM’s previous Heat Illness Prevention Training and is suitable for employees working in both indoor and outdoor places of employment. During this course, employees will learn more about how heat illness occurs, how to protect themselves against the heat, as well as what can be done to help someone that is suffering from heat illness.
Also available is a new Risk Simplified, entitled Understanding Indoor Heat Illness Prevention Requirements that will help agencies better understand the Indoor Heat Illness Prevention regulation that Cal/OSHA recently put in place, which can be found in Title 8 Section 3396. To access the detailed breakdowns, simply log into your member account and navigate to the "My Entity Documents" section. You will find the reports under the "Other" category at the bottom of the page.
