Placer County is currently accepting applications for Human Resources Analyst - I, Human Resources Analyst - II and Senior Human Resources Analyst. Each level in this job series has different minimum qualifications. • Provide comprehensive human resources support in areas such as employee relations, recruitment, classification, benefits, performance management, and equal employment opportunity for assigned departments.
• Analyze and evaluate HR data, including recruitment methods, compensation, and classification, and assist with policy development and implementation for program areas.
• Lead and support HR-related projects, oversee staff work assignments, assist in budget preparation, and coordinate training and development activities.
• Ensure compliance with HR laws and regulations, manage employee benefit programs, and address issues related to leaves, disability management, and retirement benefits.
• Demonstrates strong knowledge of human resources principles, laws, and practices, including Civil Service rules, equal employment, and benefits administration.
• Effectively analyzes data, interprets policies, and solves problems, while preparing technical reports and applying statistical methods.
• Skilled in supervising, training, and evaluating staff, with the ability to handle conflict, motivate teams, and make sound decisions independently.
• Proficient in using modern office software, HRIS, and online tracking systems, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a commitment to confidentiality and cultural sensitivity.
