PRISM Employment Practices Legal Advice Services
PRISM members are provided free access to Employment Practices Legal Advice Service for legal advice and assistance. Feel free to contact PRISM’s Deputy General Counsel, Katie Mola, directly at kmola@prismrisk.gov or (916) 850-7400 to begin utilizing the Hotline service.
The Hotline service provides members in any major program with unlimited telephone calls and email communications to answer employment law questions as they arise. Topics can include: return to work issues, modified duty and reasonable accommodations, leave of absence management and tracking, harassment and retaliation prevention, responding to grievances and complaints, performance management, discipline, policy and handbook review, wage and hour compliance, or other related employment law/practices issues. Members can receive step-by step-coaching and advice in a privileged context for employment law decisions and subsequent actions. Check out this Q&A document for more information!
